Help! We’re being attacked!
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide- wherever we go, we seem to be in constant contact with toxins in our air, food, water, and our environment. It’s hard to find a place where we are not being bombarded by a growing list of pollutants, chemicals, heavy metals, mold and EMFs. Some of these have been attacking us subtly for years and years, (even before we were born!) accumulating in our systems, triggering inflammation, and compromising our immunity- ultimately provoking a variety of health issues. Ironically, trying to live as cleanly as possible in this landscape can provoke a new type of toxin: stress.
It appears that we are in a losing battle, but believe it or not, we are better armed than we could ever imagine. Ancient modalities are blending with modern technology like Rife frequencies to make detoxing easy and accessible to all.
We are already equipped with a fantastic clean-up crew! It just needs a little help...
We are walking miracles! Our bodies are capable of cleansing themselves from the inside out to keep us healthy and vibrant. In a perfect world, we could just let our bodies do the work. However, our natural detoxification processes have been kneecapped by modern life. What they need now is a boost. Enter the world of detox.
But isn’t detox just a Hollywood thing?
Detoxing, which was first associated with recovering from substance abuse, started becoming a popular “quick fix” fad diet in certain Hollywood circles. In reality, proper detoxing is neither a recent fad nor should it be seen as a one-time “quick fix”. It has been a standard health practice across cultures worldwide for thousands of years. Detoxing comes in various forms, which can be used alone or in combination. Most fall into the following categories:
- Purging through elimination pathways: enemas, laxatives, nasal cleansing, and saunas.
- Diets and supplementation that assist detoxification directly or indirectly: chelation, hydration, digestion, reducing inflammation and promoting cellular regeneration.
- Fasting: either daily intermittent or longer fasts
- Facilitating internal detox pathways: acupuncture, acupressure, cupping.
- Introducing healing substances topically or via inhalation: burning herbs, applying essential oils.
- Reducing screen time: A new-comer to the scene, digital detoxing helps recover from EMF exposure and overall stress.
How do we know if we need to detox?
While our bodies have natural detoxification mechanisms, continuous exposure to modern life’s chemical cocktail can overwhelm these systems, potentially contributing to various health issues. Many of us don’t know how to read our bodies until it’s too late. We often wait until the symptoms appear, but by this time, our bodies have been in distress for a while. So before we get the SOS, we need to take it for granted that no matter how cleanly we live, we can all benefit from regular detoxing. Nevertheless, there are classic signs of toxic stress that pinpoint to areas that need special attention. It would seem logical to think that digestive issues such as bloating, constipation or heartburn would be tied to the intestinal pathways. However, when the liver is not functioning at its peak, seemingly random issues arise. Some of these can be felt immediately, like unexplained fatigue due to organs having to work harder than they should.
When there is persistent, longer-term exposure, toxins will build up in fatty tissues and create inflammation, which in turn will set off a response that will ultimately end up as a symptom or illness that seems to have nothing to do with the liver, like acne, sugar cravings or mood swings. So detoxing should be seen both through the lens of individual pathways and as an entire system functioning as a whole.
How to Detox?
Indeed, there are a lot of options to sift through, and as detoxing gains in popularity, there will be even more. For those new to this practice, trying to find a protocol that’s accessible and easy to follow is no easy task. So before we start exploring symptom-specific protocols, let’s first go after the culprit behind those symptoms: the toxins themselves.
Rife frequencies: an easy way to bust toxins
Rife frequencies are electromagnetic frequency waves that are played at a low energy level which can penetrate the human body. These frequencies can target and heal unhealthy cells within your body without damaging healthy cells. While traditional detoxing largely focuses on purging, Rife goes after the toxin itself. This makes Rife frequencies a great ally in detoxing gently yet thoroughly.
Rife frequencies can be delivered either through a specialized Rife machine like the Spooky2 or by audio-based frequencies. If you opt for the audio transmission of these frequencies, it’s better to use speakers, which create an environment for whole-body, immersion healing. This is why they are preferred to headphones, which tend to localize the frequencies to the head, limiting systemic exposure.
The beauty of audio Rife frequencies is the freedom you have in how you use them. As these frequencies are resonant and not perceptual, there is no need to conscientiously listen or focus on, them, which means you can turn the volume on low (which is ideal) and integrate them into all of your daily activities, even while you sleep! No breathwork, posture, or visualization is required. These 30-minute audio programs can be played in a loop or one after the other as long as you like. You can even test playing multiple programs at once, although some of the frequencies may cancel each other out.
Detoxing your body step-by-step in this order will lead to a more efficient and thorough cleanse, produce better results and limit unwanted side-effects such as stomach upset, skin break-outs, lethargy, and flu-like symptoms. These are some of what is known as a Herxheimer reaction, or “Herx” for short. If your metabolism is a little sluggish during detox, then you may experience a “traffic jam” when the toxins you’ve released aren’t getting cleared out fast enough. While it can be a little uncomfortable, there’s is no need to be alarmed. Take this process slowly, drink plenty of water, and allow yourself to rest at each step so the release of toxins won’t overburden your body.
The question at the tip of many tongues is how long it will take to feel the effects of a Rife frequency detox. The answers areas are as varied as the users’ health profiles and the programs they select. Acute subjective shifts (e.g., calm, energy) will see results possibly within minutes to hours. Biochemical/physiological changes (e.g., improved sleep from melatonin audio, reduced inflammation, etc) may take days to weeks of regular use. Sometimes the results are more subtle, but overall you should feel more energy, lighter and healthier.
Other things you can do to lighten specific toxic burden symptoms:
1. Chronic Fatigue and Low Energy Levels (liver, kidneys, and lymphatic system)
- Increase your water intake to about 2 liters/day.

A forgotten friend in detox: our lymphatic system
While it was not specifically mentioned above, it the organs, vessels and tissues of the lymphatic system (bone marrow, thymus and lymph nodes) play a vital role in removing toxins. When the lymphatic pathways are congested or sluggish, we can experience bloating, skin breakouts, swelling (especially in the legs), tenderness in the armpits, sinus infections, brain fog and fatigue. To detox the lymphatic system, focus on hydration, movement like rebounding, and lymph-supporting habits like deep breathing, dry brushing and daily drainage self-massage .
The takeaway: Detox is a lifestyle, not just a one-off procedure.
We’ve learned that detoxing doesn’t have to be just major periodic purge- it can done everyday! For it to be lasting, it should be easy to adapt to your lifestyle. Don’t beat yourself up if you haven’t adopted all the modalities. You can use Rife frequencies as the baseline and progressively incorporate simple detox practices into your daily routine. Your body will thank you!
